Job Summary
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing procurement activities for Store Development and Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) Non-Trade requirements, ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, contract compliance, and uninterrupted support to business operations. The role manages supplier relationships, procurement processes, contract administration, and spend analysis while driving procurement best practices and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Store Development and R&M Non-Trade requirements, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Process and monitor both manual and system-generated Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in accordance with procurement policies and service level agreements.
- Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders and coordination of deliveries with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Contract and Price Management
- Lead contract administration activities, including contract preparation, implementation, renewal, monitoring, and compliance.
- Maintain and manage supplier pricing agreements to ensure competitiveness, cost control, and alignment with business requirements.
- Provide guidance to end-users on contract implementation and adherence to procurement policies.
Supplier and Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and service excellence.
- Coordinate closely with internal clients, suppliers, and the Central Fixed Assets and Supplies (CFAS) team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend appropriate sourcing strategies.
Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Accreditation
- Support sourcing initiatives through market research, supplier evaluation, RFQ management, and bidding activities.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing Manager and relevant stakeholders on supplier sourcing, evaluation, accreditation, and performance monitoring.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, supplier consolidation, and cost optimization.
Analytics and Process Improvement
- Conduct spend analysis and procurement reporting to support strategic sourcing decisions and procurement planning.
- Monitor RFQ activities and drive standardization efforts for Store Development and R&M requirements through SKU enrollment and category management initiatives.
- Recommend and implement procurement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and value generation.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, supplier documentation, and audit-ready files.
Qualifications
- Graduate of any business, supply chain, or related course
- With 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
- Preferably with background in retail or store development
- Knowledge in handling contracts, pricing, and supplier coordination
- Experience in processing both manual and online purchase requests
- Can analyze spending and support RFQ or bidding processes
- Proficient in Excel; experience using any procurement system is a plus
- Good at coordinating with suppliers and different departments
