The General Affairs Supervisor provides operational and administrative support to retail stores and offices. They ensure that facilities, supplies, and services are well-managed, enabling frontline staff to focus on sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Maintenance
- Supervise store and office maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility services.
Administrative Support
- Manage procurement of office supplies, uniforms, and store equipment.
- Oversee inventory of non-merchandise items (e.g., forms, stationery).
Vendor & Contract Management
- Liaise with external service providers (security, janitorial, utilities).
- Ensure contracts are up-to-date and services delivered as agreed.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain records of permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and labor standards.
Employee Support
- Provide logistical support for staff activities (trainings, meetings, events).
- Handle requests related to workplace facilities and supplies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Experience: 35 years in general affairs, administration, or facilities management, preferably in retail.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and basic facilities maintenance.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
