About The Role

This is to inform you that we are currently seeking a Production Superintendent for our Limay Manufacturing Site.

The Production Superintendent will be in charge of the shift-based production team, with responsibility for meeting daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to ensure quality product is available as required to satisfy the S&OP, as well as overall accountability for facility operations.

What you will be doing
  • Strict work compliance to Orica standards and all statutory requirements, manufacturing plants full compliance to SHE model procedures
  • Ensure plant compliance to SHE and Basis of Safety requirements
  • Initiate and implement SHE improvements and plans
  • Implementation of ISO 14001 Management System
  • Ensure waste management system in place
  • Coordinate and ensure implementation of SH&E identified training and requirements ( License to Operate)
  • Timely completion of actions on non - conformances raised and results from internal and external audits
  • Impose disciplinary action on SHE violations
  • Achieve scheduled output by maximising plant utilisation
  • Ensure resources availability ( e.g. manpower, equipment, raw material, etc.) to produce and deliver products on time on a per shift basis
  • Ensure equipment and facility integrity
  • Ensure all plant concerns are acted upon in a most appropriate manner
  • Ensure system in place for production consumables replacement including portable equipments / tools
  • Coordinates with Production Scheduler, Production Superintendent and process houses for status of production
  • Monitors, implements and ensure timely completion of significant projects
  • Ensure plants operates at the highest level of manufacturing and quality standards
  • Ensure all manufacturing plants are strictly complying to the quality assurance requirements and conforming to the ISO 9001 system requirements
  • Ensure plant work instructions and procedures are up to date and strictly being followed by personnel.
What you will bring
  • Licensed Chemical Engineer is required
  • Supervisory experience to effectively manage production operations
  • At least two years experience in manufacturing, quality control and safe operation practices
  • With ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 experience in a manufacturing set - up is a nice to have.
