Prepare structural designs, calculations, and analyses for steel structure projects in accordance with applicable engineering standards and company requirements.
Prepare, review, and verify structural drawings, connection details, and related technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved designs.
Ensure that all structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, detailers, and fabrication or erection teams to ensure proper implementation of the approved structural designs.
Determine appropriate steel member sizes, connection details, and material specifications based on structural load requirements and project specifications.
Provide technical support and clarification during the fabrication and erection of steel structures to ensure compliance with the approved structural plans.
Review and revise structural designs, when necessary, due to project modifications, site conditions, or engineering requirements.
Prepare and maintain structural calculation reports, technical documentation, and other project-related engineering records.
Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Company from time to time, provided that such duties are consistent with the nature of the Employees position.
Skills Required
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Preferably Licensed Civil Engineer
Member of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP)
With experience in steel structure design and analysis
Knowledgeable in structural design software (AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, or similar)
Able to read and interpret structural and shop drawings
