Job Responsibilities:
- Modeling, detailing, and drafting expertise with a strong focus on precast elements.
- Reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
- Understanding structural behavior, including how elements connect and interact within a residential building.Knowledge of structural loads, compression, tension forces, and overall building performance and the capability to suggest structural solutions.
- Review and analyze architectural and structural plans to understand project requirements and integrate them into Tekla models.
- Precast modeling structures with precision in the Tekla environment, following established company standards and ensuring compatibility with design intent.
- Shop drawing creation and management generate, review, and issue detailed shop drawings that adhere to industry standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness for production.
- Worked with different engineers and project managers to address structural and design challenges, proposing practical solutions as needed.
- Contribute to the improvement of design and modeling processes, helping to streamline workflows and enhance productivity within the drafting and engineering team.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Structural Engineer or similar role.
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or relatedfield.
- Familiarity with other BIM software, Revit, and drafting tools.
- Must have a recent experience in the precast concrete and residential industry
- Strong proficiency in Concrete Structures for modeling and detailing.
