About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Engineer (Civil & Structural) to join our growing engineering team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, economical, and innovative structural designs while collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- This role is perfect for someone who thrives in technical problem-solving, structural analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and validate structural designs, calculations, and drawings for various civil & structural engineering projects.
- Conduct structural analysis using relevant engineering software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations (NSCP, ACI, BS, Eurocodes, etc.).
- Oversee and coordinate with CAD/BIM teams to ensure accurate and precise drawing production.
- Perform site inspections, structural assessments, and provide technical recommendations as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and project deliverables.
- Identify potential design issues and propose costeffective, innovative engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; PRC-licensed Civil Engineer required.
- At least 35 years experience in Structural or Civil & Structural engineering (adjust as needed).
- Proficient in structural engineering software (STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards (NSCP, ACI, BS, ASCE, etc.).
- Knowledge of CAD/BIM software is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and technical report writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
