Job Description

The Strategy & Performance Head is responsible for owning and executing the enterprise-wide business strategy and planning development. This leadership role ensures that business models and project schemes are harmonized with the overall strategic agenda while overseeing the monitoring and control of SNAP's operational KPIs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy: Lead the development of the strategic growth narrative aligned with shareholder plans.
  • Market Intelligence: Research environmental trends, technological advancements, and competitor capacity to identify expansion opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Business Planning: Drive the annual SNAP business planning process, translating strategic intents into actionable project initiatives with clear performance targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Design and maintain executive dashboards to track adherence to the business plan and provide actionable insights to functional owners.
  • Executive Facilitation: Act as a quality gatekeeper for materials presented at ManCom, ExCom, and Board meetings, facilitating discussions on strategic priorities.
  • Benchmarking: Establish methods to compare company operations and costs against local and international peers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or Finance. A Master's degree (MBA, Energy Economics, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate planning, project portfolio management, business development, or market analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Significant background in the power industry, including WESM fundamentals and ancillary services operations.
  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of strategic tools (SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, PESTEL).
  • Strong financial analysis, data analytics, and numerical skills.
  • Understanding of market risk analysis and regulatory frameworks governing the electric power industry.
