The Corporate Strategy and Investments Manager supports Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) decision-making across investments, portfolio management, and strategic planning. The role is responsible for evaluating and executing transactions, providing financial and strategic advisory to internal stakeholders and portfolio companies, and contributing to portfolio risk management, capital allocation, and selected SBU strategy initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Portfolio and Capital Management: Supports portfolio reviews, capital allocation analysis, and portfolio risk assessment across SBUs.
- SBU Strategy Support: Supports strategy work for business units through market assessment, strategic analysis, and business case development.
- Strategic Research and Decision Support: Provides targeted research and insight generation to support portfolio and enterprise-level decisions.
- Transaction Analysis: Conducts assessment of investment and divestment opportunities through rigorous financial and commercial analysis.
- Transaction Execution: Leads project management and coordinates work streams across internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial and Transaction Advisory: Supports SBUs on their projects by providing analytical and execution support. This is done on an as-needed basis and subjected to SBUs requirements and manpower constraints.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Has 6-9 years of experience in investment or asset management, corporate development, equity research, strategy, or management consulting.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and strategic analysis.
- Proven experience in deal execution, stakeholder management, and strong communication and presentation skills.
