About the Opportunity
Atelier is seeking a highly proactive and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Coordinator to support supply-side growth through structured supplier identification, outreach, and qualification.
This remote role, based in the Philippines, will focus primarily on expanding and strengthening our global manufacturer network. You will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers, conducting structured outreach, gathering qualification data, and maintaining accurate sourcing records within our systems.
Reporting to the Head of Growth, this role is execution-focused and metrics-driven. Success in this position means consistently building a strong pipeline of qualified manufacturers and ensuring high-quality, reliable supplier data that enables effective allocation decisions.
What you'll do
Stragtegic Supplier Identification
- Research and identify high-potential manufacturers aligned with Atelier's priority categories and regions.
- Build and maintain structured supplier prospect lists using defined sourcing criteria.
- Monitor industry directories, trade events, and online platforms to continuously expand sourcing coverage.
Supplier Outreach & Engagement
- Execute structured outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Clearly communicate Atelier's value proposition to prospective manufacturers.
- Manage follow-ups and maintain consistent engagement to move conversations toward qualification.
Supplier Qualification & Data Collection
- Conduct structured screening calls or written qualification processes.
- Gather key operational, compliance, and capability information.
- Ensure complete and accurate supplier profiles are captured in internal systems.
- Escalate high-potential suppliers to senior team members for further evaluation or onboarding.
Data Accuracy & Pipeline Tracking
- Maintain high data integrity across sourcing trackers and CRM systems.
- Track outreach activity, response rates, qualification progress, and pipeline status.
- Support reporting on supplier acquisition metrics such as: Outreach volume, Response rates, Qualified supplier conversion rate, Time to qualification
Market & Category Research
- Support supply expansion strategies by researching new categories, regions, and emerging manufacturer segments.
- Organise insights to inform sourcing priorities.
Documentation & Process Discipline
- Follow and help refine structured sourcing playbooks.
- Maintain organised records to ensure transparency and repeatability.
- Contribute suggestions to improve sourcing workflows and efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Experience
- 13 years of experience in sourcing, operations, business development, lead generation, or supply chain coordination.
- Experience in a startup, marketplace, or fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Commercial & Outreach Skills
- Confident in professional written communication and cold outreach.
- Able to build credibility and position value clearly in supplier conversations.
- Strong follow-through and persistence in driving responses.
Research & Analytical Skills
- Strong online research capability and ability to synthesise information efficiently.
- Comfortable working with structured data and spreadsheets.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Systems & Tech Comfort
- Comfortable using CRMs, spreadsheets, and sourcing databases.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets proficiency preferred.
- Interest in AI tools and automation for improving sourcing productivity is a plus.
