Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Manager to strengthen our Partner & Contracts Management function within Globe's Information Services Group (ISG). This role will support the continued development of the team from a primarily transactional and compliance-focused unit into a more structured and value-focused partner management function - helping ensure we maximize value from our vendors, align external delivery with business priorities, and manage technology investments through effective commercial governance and collaboration.
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in vendor management, contract administration, and technology sourcing, with a practical approach to performance tracking, reporting, and process improvement. A strong foundation in analytics and automation is preferred to help enhance partner performance visibility and support informed internal decision-making.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Vendor Management: Support the enhancement of partner management practices - shifting from primarily reactive oversight toward a more structured and forward-looking approach. Ensure vendor capabilities and performance are aligned with Globe's delivery priorities and transformation initiatives.
  • Analytics, Insighting & Automation: Drive the adoption of a more data-informed approach to partner and contract management. Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards, performance scorecards, and reporting tools that provide visibility into trends, risks, and value opportunities, enabling more effective decision-making.
  • Value Optimization: Implement structured processes to help maximize value from existing contracts (e.g., cost management, service performance, innovation commitments, SLAs). Monitor partner performance frameworks and recommend improvements that enhance outcomes beyond standard KPI tracking.
  • Commercial Risk Management: Strengthen contract governance and lifecycle management practices. Ensure proactive monitoring of renewals, amendments, and potential commercial or delivery risks, with timely escalation and mitigation planning as needed.
  • Partnership Strategy & Rationalization: Support partner segmentation and portfolio reviews to ensure the right mix of strategic and tactical vendors. Contribute to rationalization efforts that promote competitiveness, flexibility, and alignment with Globe's evolving technology priorities.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with ISG, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Business Units to align contract structures and partner engagements with operational and business requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead and develop the team to enhance capabilities in vendor management, analytics, and governance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, encouraging a shift toward a more proactive and value-oriented approach.

  • Partner landscape is rationalized, performance-managed, and insight-enabled
  • Contracts are optimized for flexibility, innovation, and cost-effectiveness
  • Partner and vendor performance is tracked, visualized, and acted upon via automated reporting
  • ISG leaders see the function as a strategic advisor, not just a compliance office
  • Key risks are anticipated and mitigated, not simply escalated after the fact
  • Internal teams are enabled by analytics and freed up from manual monitoring and reporting
  • STRATEGY ORCHESTRATION - ensuring that strategies are implemented,transformation priorities are carried out and blockers are addressed
  • VISIBILITY AND INSIGHTING - delivering relevant information in a timely manner andlayering in strategic insights
  • STRATEGIC DECISIONS - orchestrating the right conversations and bridging the relevantleaders/teams to land the decisions needed to move our strategic objectives
  • STRATEGIC GOVERNANCE - enabling the CIO to have the proper oversight and controlto be able to steer the direction for IT
  • COMMUNICATIONS - enabling the CIO to deliver the right, needed message to the rightstakeholders at the right time

SKILLS

  • Strong project management skills to ensure IT strategic and transformation initiatives aredelivered in compliance with established KPIs and timelines
  • Effective change management and communication skills to be able to influence, guideothers and manage the change associated with the implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Globe and ISG's business objectives to translate them intoeffective IT strategic and transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications business domain, its processes, ITsystems/technologies, operations, industry competitors and market trends

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferabley with Project Management Certification and/or Agile Project ManagementCertification
  • 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience working in the same field(Strategy Management, IT Transformation, Large-scale Program Management ProcessManagement, Business Transformation)
  • Knowledge and exposure to different IT Solutions and Telco Industry
  • Knowledgeable on process best practices and process improvement principles
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

  • With management experience, leading a team
  • Ability to multitask a number of projects at any given time
  • A history of strong relationships building, both internal and external to the organization
  • Knowledge of the procurement and partner mgmt cycle
  • Devising a Vendor Risk Management capability
  • Skilled in Project Management
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Demonstrated experience in a contract management (or equivalent) role and a good working knowledge of contract management processes and techniques.
