The Store Manager oversees the daily operations of the store, ensuring all departmentsfrom sales to customer servicefunction smoothly and cohesively. This role involves managing staff, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Store Manager is also responsible for achieving sales and profit targets and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction by providing great shopping experience across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Profit

  • Regularly analyse and follow up Store's Sales and Profit KPIs and take actions accordingly to maximize results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets across all departments.
  • Monitor and adjust strategies based on sales performance.
  • Oversee multiple departments, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with store objectives.
  • Manage the store budget and monitor financial performance.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by providing the best shopping experience throughout the store.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering and stock levels across departments.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
  • Ensure that maintenance in store is managed in a cost-efficient way.
  • Handle cash management and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with senior management and other departments to coordinate store activities, inform of any potential risk, threats and opportunities related to the competitor landscape.

People and Team

  • Manage the recruitment, training, development and succession planning of the Store.
  • Regularly evaluate and manage the performance of Store Team including giving of feedback and taking actions to improve team performance.
  • Clear communication of goals, business performance and company culture and values.
  • Ensure health and safety, legal and security issues are being handled in accordance with company's standard and local regulations, always ensuring employee and customer safety.
  • Ensure all employee relation responsibilities, legal requirements and company policies are fulfilled.
