The Opportunity

Reporting to the Management Company Controller, the Staff Accountant will support the accounting and financial operations of the management entity and related affiliates.

This role works closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records, support internal controls, and assist in timely reporting. The position offers strong exposure to corporate accounting operations within a structured, professional environment.

Position Details

Title: Management Company Staff Accountant

Reports To: Management Company Controller

Collaboration: Finance and internal stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure proper coding and approvals
  • Maintain and update vendor records, including payment terms and tax documentation
  • Coordinate recurring payment batches, including ACH and wire transactions
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding accounts payable matters
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Support preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal control procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA license preferred but not required
  • 2-3+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Experience in corporate accounting environments preferred

Knowledge & Skill Set

  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential financial information

Job Type: Exclusive Full-time / 40 hours per week
