Implement and control the elements of a Total Quality Assurance Program through appropriate quality assurance data gathering techniques
Identify and eliminate the causes of poor processes, scrap and rework which result in production delays.
Responsible for research, recommendation and implementation of process improvements which result in lower quality costs.
Direct the activities of the Quality Inspectors to achieve the above-named goals.
Responsible for product quality management, implement quality plans, drive quality improvement projects and prepare quality report to identify problem areas and work.
Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs.
Provides support both for In-process and Outgoing inspection to ensure compliance of product from its design specification and control plans.
Directs and supervise the quality assurance testing of samples from production.
Compile data and issue reports as necessary. Make information available as required to initiate corrective action and identify problem areas.
Work closely with internal team members to address product related quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive action for continuous improvement.
Handle Document Control Activity.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field, with 5–8+ years of quality engineering experience in electronics/electrical manufacturing
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (TS16949) quality management systems
Advanced proficiency in core quality tools: FMEA, Control Plan (CP), SPC, MSA, 8D, Six Sigma methodologies
Experience leading root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives
Certified/trained in ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing (ISO 19011) and IATF 16949, with experience in internal, supplier, and external audits
Strong analytical skills using Excel, Minitab, and quality/ERP systems for data-driven decision-making
Proven ability to lead cross-functional quality projects and collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive quality standards and influence decision-making
