Job Summary
The
Production Planner, SMT is assigned leading the development and execution of structured SMT production plans to support operational requirements across multiple product families in both Laguna and Cavity factories. Collaborates closely with Materials Planning and Procurement teams to ensure timely material availability and sustain production continuity. Drives effective factory loading, capacity planning, and resource optimization to meet business demands. Accountable for achieving revenue targets, meeting customer delivery commitments, and supporting key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and execute SMT production schedules to support operational requirements across all product families and factory locations.
- Drive achievement of monthly and annual revenue targets by aligning production plans with customer demand and business objectives.
- Lead coordination and communication of production plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational capabilities.
- Monitor demand fluctuations (surges or declines) and collaborate with Operations to assess and mitigate impacts on SMT capacity.
- Ensure on-time delivery performance by overseeing execution of SMT plans and implementing contingency measures for disruptions (e.g., machine downtime).
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure action plans are in place to meet delivery commitments.
- Perform capacity planning by evaluating total factory resources against customer demand to optimize utilization and output.
- Work closely with Materials Planners and Buyers to secure material readiness, supporting uninterrupted SMT production flow.
- Track production performance, identify risks, and implement corrective and recovery actions to address gaps.
- Promote and ensure full compliance with company safety programs and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 yrs Work experience in Planning/ Production Planning
