The Opportunity
GrowthAssistant is looking for an energetic and experienced Sr. Creative Designer to support one of our U.S.-based startup clients. In this role, you'll take full ownership of design strategy and execution, acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for creative assets across social media, newsletters, and digital campaigns. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with ambitious professionals and elevate a well-known brand while working from the comfort of your home.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Design Leadership: Act as the design SME, providing creative strategies, high-level recommendations, and flawless execution across all digital channels.
- Brand Stewardship: Apply and evolve brand guidelines across social media ads, newsletter graphics, and high-stakes presentation decks.
- Social Media Management: Post and schedule content for X and LinkedIn (and Meta in the future) using tools like Hypefury and Typefully.
- Multimedia Editing: Edit video and podcast content—polishing audio, adding design overlays, and stitching short-form videos or GIFs for active campaigns.
- Collateral Development: Create and enhance internal documents, client proposals, and pitch decks to ensure a premium look and feel.
- Quality Control: QC and iterate on all creative assets, including cropping, resizing, and optimizing designs for maximum engagement.
- Project Management: Use tools like Notion, Google Docs, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite to organize and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3+ years of experience designing social media ads, newsletters, and professional presentations for U.S.-based clients.
- Channel Expertise: Proven experience posting to and managing social media channels (specifically X and LinkedIn).
- Operational Skills: 1+ year of experience with administrative or reporting tasks, such as tracking social media metrics.
- Communication Mastery: Strong proofreading skills with an eagle eye for grammar, readability, and design accuracy.
- Strategic Mindset: Comfortable offering proactive recommendations and new creative ideas directly to clients.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, with the ability to navigate Notion and Google Workspace.
Bonus Points if:
- You have advanced video editing experience with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.
- You have experience working within early-stage, fast-paced startup environments.
- You are familiar with the social-first writing styles of X (Twitter) and LinkedIn.
Salary Range: $7-$8/hour (Final offer based on skills and experience matched to role requirements)
