The role
The
Sr. Compensation & Benefits Manager will lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that support business objectives in a manufacturing/electronics environment. This role is responsible for ensuring internal equity, external market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance while managing and developing a high-performing compensation and benefits team. The position requires close onsite collaboration with HR leadership, finance, and operations to support a complex, labor-intensive workforce.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage company-wide compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business goals and workforce needs
- Lead annual compensation processes including salary reviews, bonus planning, incentive programs, and job architecture
- Design and oversee benefits programs including health, welfare, retirement, and wellness offerings, ensuring cost-effectiveness and employee value
- Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, and compensation analysis for manufacturing and electronics roles
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements related to compensation and benefits
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and senior leadership to provide data-driven recommendations and insights
- Manage vendor relationships including brokers, consultants, and benefits providers
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of compensation and benefits professionals
- Support M&A, restructuring, or workforce scaling initiatives from a compensation and benefits perspective
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership on compensation trends, costs, and program effectiveness
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 810+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with managerial experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing and/or electronics industry environment
- Demonstrated success as a people manager leading compensation and benefits teams
- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, incentive programs, and benefits administration
- In-depth understanding of labor laws, compensation regulations, and benefits compliance
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Ability and willingness to work onsite and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
