Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist will provide human resources support to a various HR-related processes, employee relations with our local Cebu team, and on-going HR-related projects. As a member of our team, you will drive the development and execution of communications and branding for our People programs, Services, Learning & Development and more. Additionally, you will be an organized self-starter who can develop and maintain project plans & schedules and partner in the analysis and documentation of programs, policies and practices.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.
Partner with business leaders to develop targeted employee communications and engagement plans that drive engagement, shape culture and build a connected employee community.
Create key messaging that supports People Ops initiatives and that also reinforces DBS's priorities and culture.
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement initiatives and organization-wide programs spearheaded by Human Resources, aimed at enhancing employee experience, engagement, and organizational culture.
Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement engagement strategies and activities aligned with business objectives and People Operations priorities.
Oversee end-to-end management of employee engagement activities, including planning, budgeting, logistics, vendor coordination, and post-initiative evaluation, ensuring effective and timely delivery.
Create a unified, informative and engaging internal branding and messaging strategy for People Operations via updates to our social media content, newsletters, videos, etc.
Oversee key operational tasks such as weekly project status updates and maintenance of the project calendar, while ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office and related program software.
