Job Purpose: To deliver comprehensive support for Business Intelligence solution, and automation in PDS Technology applications to the PDS APAC colleagues, stakeholders, and project managers, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and processes, and contributing to the successful completion of global projects.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, Design Studio, and Alteryx to resolve complex system issues, transforming reactive support into proactive optimization strategies.
- Manage the prioritization matrix for enterprise-wide support requests, making autonomous decisions that balance technical requirements with business impact in accordance with SLAs.
- Design and implement robust data quality frameworks and governance protocols using SQL and Alteryx that ensure data integrity while supporting complex BI requirements and identify process automation opportunities using Power Automate and Alteryx workflows to transform support operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Lead as a strategic subject matter expert and critical enabler for enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions, orchestrating system architecture to ensure optimal stability, availability, and performance while driving continuous enhancement initiatives and directly influencing cross-functional outcomes through advanced technical expertise.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between data engineers, analysts, and executive stakeholders to anticipate business needs and architect comprehensive BI frameworks that align with organizational objectives.
- Demonstrate advanced communication across diverse audiences with strong influencing skills and negotiation abilities, while proactively overseeing multiple complex workstreams with minimal supervision, anticipating and mitigating risks independently, and making autonomous decisions that align with broader organizational objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry developments to formulate strategic recommendations that position the organization's BI capabilities for future growth and competitive advantage.
Requirements
MUST-HAVE Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience architecting and optimizing enterprise-scale business intelligence solutions, in complex, multi-platform environments
Core Technical Skills
- Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency in Power BI ecosystem, including DAX, complex data modelling, and enterprise deployment strategies to deliver sophisticated analytics solutions
- Strong SQL expertise including performance optimization, complex query writing, and data pipeline development across large-scale databases
- Knowledge of Power Automate for creating complex workflow automations that integrate with multiple data systems and business processes.
- Intermediate to advanced-level Alteryx skills for developing complex data preparation workflows, predictive analytics models, and automated data quality frameworks.
Problem-Solving Capabilities
- Proven problem-solving capabilities with proven success implementing comprehensive technical solutions that address systemic challenges across the organization
GOOD-TO-HAVE Requirements
Certifications & Tools
- Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx Designer, or related technologies
- Demonstrated experience with Design Studio for creating customized, enterprise-grade reporting solutions that serve diverse stakeholder needs
