Essential Functions:
- Design and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons (beginner to advanced levels).
- Prepare instructional materials, activities, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Incorporate Spanish culture, history, and current events into lessons to enhance learning.
- Utilize modern teaching methods, including multimedia tools and interactive platforms.
- Maintain accurate class records, attendance, and performance reports.
- Support students in preparing for proficiency tests (e.g., DELE) when applicable.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and academic staff to ensure consistent quality of instruction.
Qualifications:
- Fluent speaker of Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in a foreign language specifically Spanish (Hispanic Philology)
- With a broad knowledge of the Spanish language and grammar
- With relevant experience of teaching Spanish as a foreign language
- Competent, dedicated, and highly motivated teacher
- Strong written and verbal communication in Spanish and English languages
- Customer Service experience is a plus
