You take ownership of revenue recovery by managing delinquent accounts with discipline, structure, and sound judgment. This role exists to protect cash flow, reduce aging balances, and ensure customer accounts are professionally managed in alignment with US compliance standards.

Day to day, you balance persistence with professionalism. You handle sensitive financial conversations across phone, email, and SMS while also analyzing account histories, tracking delinquency trends, and coordinating internally with Sales and Accounting. This role fits professionals who thrive in high-accountability environments, stay composed under pressure, and can think critically beyond scripted collections conversations.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• 3+ years of 1st-party collections experience, ideally supporting US customers
• Experience conducting collections via phone, email, and SMS (not limited to outbound calls)
• Strong ability to research customer account history and assess the full financial picture before taking action
• Experience managing delinquent accounts, repayment plans, disputes, and escalations
• Solid proficiency in MS Excel for tracking aging reports, balances, and trends
• Clear, professional English communication with strong attention to detail
• Spanish language proficiency with a neutral to mild accent for phone-based interactions
• Willingness on a US shift schedule

• Background in Accounts Receivable or credit analysis
• Experience recommending write-offs, escalations to legal, or repossession proceedings
• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-pressure collection environments

Revenue Recovery & Account Management

You protect the company's revenue by managing overdue accounts through a structured and research-driven approach.

• Contact customers via phone, email, and SMS to collect overdue payments
• Assess account history, terms, and severity of delinquency before outreach
• Negotiate repayment plans and record commitments accurately
• Facilitate dispute resolution and reissue invoices when needed
• Maintain accurate customer information and collection notes in internal systems

Account Analysis & Reporting

You go beyond collections calls by analyzing account trends and identifying risk patterns.

• Monitor aging reports and track outstanding balances
• Organize delinquent accounts based on priority, severity, and exposure
• Validate billing data and ensure accuracy of final balances
• Prepare and maintain documentation aligned with compliance requirements

Compliance & Escalation Management

You operate within US laws and confidentiality guidelines while escalating risk appropriately.

• Adhere strictly to 1st-party collections regulations and internal policies
• Recommend write-offs or escalation to legal channels when necessary
• Coordinate with Accounting and Sales teams to resolve complex account issues
• Maintain professionalism and empathy even in challenging conversations
