The Interdivision Automation Task Force (IATF) Solutions Architect will design future proof solutions adhering to the long term initiative of the Network Technical Group - to automate, consolidate and simplify manual processes to achieve better operational efficiencies.

The IATF Solutions Architect will recommend solutions to the task force demands and requirements, across each tower, through creation of high level designs consisting of architecture, security requirements, transaction flows and so on that shall be articulating the design considerations, benefit roadmap and principles used.

Map Demand Stories/User Stories and Idea Canvas of each Tower into a feature solution as part of the High Level Design

Create Project Cost Estimates based on provided High Level Design

Create High Level Project Timeline based on provided High Level Design

Attend to assigned IATF Tower cadences as needed - provide Solution architecture inputs to applicable queries

Give direction to Solution Designers and Developers based on High Level Design

Assist Tower Leads and Project Managers on project updates/dashboards

Conduct meetings as needed to build the E2E High level design based on User Requirements

Act as the bridge between Business and Technical teams of IATF

Assist OSS Solution Architects on establishing Platform Roadmaps and CAPEX requirements

Job Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT/Telecom, with at least 35 years in a Solutions Architect, Systems Design, or equivalent role.
  • Strong background in creating High-Level Designs (HLD), High-Level Architecture (HLA), and reviewing/validating Low-Level Designs (LLD).
  • Hands-on experience in automation platforms, OSS/BSS systems, and network solutions.
  • Proven track record in cost estimation, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and roadmap creation.
  • Experience working as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business/user stories into architectural solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Strong knowledge in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform, ServiceNow).
  • Solid understanding of system integration, APIs, security requirements, and transaction flows.
  • Strong troubleshooting/debugging capabilities across platforms and applications.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities to articulate solutions to both business and technical audiences.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing without authority.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines.

Certifications (preferred):

  • TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, ITIL, or equivalent architecture/automation certifications.
  • PMP/Prince2 (a plus for project timeline & cost estimation experience).
