Solution Architect (Navitaire system)

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to define solution architecture in alignment with airline industry requirements.

Design end-to-end enterprise solutions covering applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure.

Provide technical leadership and guidance during solution evaluation, design, and implementation phases.

Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., IATA, PCI DSS, GDPR).

Evaluate and recommend new technologies related to Navitaire to clients.

Develop high-level and detailed architecture documentation, including solution blueprints, integration patterns, and data flow diagrams.

Work closely with delivery teams to ensure solution quality, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Act as a subject matter expert for airline-specific systems such as reservations, departure control, loyalty, revenue management, crew operations, and flight scheduling.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 10+ years in IT with at least 3 years in solution architecture, preferably in the airline/travel domain.

Strong knowledge of airline industry processes and Navitaire systems.

Hands-on experience with enterprise integration (APIs, microservices, ESB, event-driven architecture).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid architectures.

Proficiency in designing solutions that support scalability, high availability, performance, and security.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions.
