Your bite-size role:

A sales engineer is a professional who uses technical knowledge and sales skills to promote and sell extensive products or services. They are the sales team's primary technical resource, working directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

The Sales Engineer shall be assigned under the Power Business Group – Business Development Department, primarily supporting renewable energy solutions such as solar PV systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and related energy efficiency technologies.

The ideal candidate should exhibit high standards in communication with partners and clients while serving as an ambassador of Power 4 All, with a strong ability to initiate and deliver committed tasks, ensuring utmost success in this multifaceted role.

Your role has a wide range of responsibilities:
  • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain the company's products and services to customers
  • Discussing equipment needs, system requirements, and technical solutions with customers, engineers, and internal teams
  • Collaborating with Sales and Business Development Teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical-commercial support
  • Preparing, consolidating, reviewing, and enhancing technical-commercial proposals prior to client submission
  • Collaborating with the Design Engineering Team for technical designs, costings, technical compliance, and project specifications, while coordinating with the Project Management Team and other internal departments to support smooth project implementation, execution, documentation, and client deliverables
  • Preparing preliminary proposals, budgetary quotations, and solution recommendations for inquiries that do not require detailed engineering design
  • Conducting client presentations, technical-commercial discussions, exploratory meetings, and site visits
  • Generating sales opportunities, following up on leads, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, and completing sales transactions
  • Supporting project development and client engagement for renewable energy solutions, particularly solar PV systems and related technologies
  • Assisting customers with technical concerns and recommending improved or upgraded products, systems, and solutions
  • Soliciting and evaluating client feedback to support continuous improvement and sales and marketing strategies
  • Identifying areas for operational and business improvement and communicating recommendations to Management
  • Supporting the achievement of departmental KPIs, sales goals, and quotas
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with clients, stakeholders, suppliers, vendors, and partners nationwide
  • Managing multiple proposal timelines and coordinating across departments to ensure timely submission of client requirements and bid documents
  • Generating project, sales, and activity reports to support informed Management decisions and proactive business strategies
  • Maintaining and updating sales pipelines, project monitoring trackers, and client databases
  • Assisting in bid and tender preparation, document completion, compliance review, and post-submission coordination
  • Training and supporting other sales team members on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.

Who we need for a high-performance team:
  • Bachelor's degree graduate in Engineering (preferably with PRC license), with relevant experience in the same field for at least one (1) year
  • Proficient in negotiation and communication skills, bidding, proposal preparation, and contract documentation
  • Knowledgeable in renewable energy systems, particularly solar PV systems, net metering, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and related electrical systems
  • Familiarity with solar project development, site assessment, proposal preparation, client presentation, and project coordination is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in energy efficiency solutions, renewable energy technologies, and industry trends is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in wastewater and containerized/modular water treatment is an advantage
  • Able to analyze engineering plans, technical specifications, system designs, and graphical presentations
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of project implementation, installation, and construction processes is an advantage
  • Able to liaise effectively with engineers, management, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a growth mindset
  • Maintain high standards in communication with partners and clients while serving as an ambassador of Power 4 All
  • Self-starter, with a strong ability to initiate and deliver committed tasks ensuring utmost success in this multifaceted role

  • Office-based and willing to travel periodically for site visits and client meetings
  • Must be willing to travel nationwide for project site visits, client meetings, and business development activities
