Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in software testing to support the quality assurance of IoT and Network Management Systems.

You will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web-based platforms through functional, API, UI, automation, and performance testing. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and engineers in a fast-paced environment.

This position is for onsite work, and shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an onsite interview.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance (QA)
• Understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes
• Ability to design and execute test cases
• Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP protocols
• Experience with tools such as Postman and JMeter
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
• Familiarity with Linux command-line operations and logs
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting (basic level is acceptable)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to IoT or Network Management Systems (NMS)
• Familiarity with MQTT protocol and performance testing
• Experience with automation testing (API/UI)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Interest in performance and load testing
• Familiarity with AI tools for QA or test case support
