Senior QA Analyst (Identity Governance Administration)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Analyst to support a major Identity Governance Administration (IGA) initiative within a leading international development organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful delivery of identity and access management solutions through comprehensive testing and defect management activities.
This role is ideal for a QA professional with experience in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) or Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments, strong testing expertise, and hands-on experience with Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Design
- Review business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test scenarios and test cases for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
- Prepare test data and validate testing environments, user access, and configurations.
Test Execution & Defect Management
- Execute test cases and document results with appropriate evidence and supporting documentation.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Perform defect retesting and regression testing.
- Escalate risks, recurring issues, and potential quality concerns to project stakeholders.
UAT Support & Release Readiness
- Support business users during UAT execution.
- Prepare UAT materials, test data, and user guidance.
- Assist in tracking UAT progress and defect resolution.
- Contribute to release readiness assessments.
Reporting & Documentation
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, blockers, and defect trends.
- Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and testing artifacts for audit and compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and testing processes.
- Contribute to automation-readiness efforts by creating reusable and maintainable test assets.
- Support quality assurance best practices across the project team.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of software testing and quality assurance experience.
- Experience supporting Identity Governance Administration (IGA) and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Proven experience in:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Defect Management
- Test Case Design and Execution
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with testing best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
- Experience with issue tracking and test management processes.
- Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks is an advantage.
- Understanding of Identity Management systems is highly preferred.
Preferred Certifications
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.
- Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent.
