Job Description

Pointwest is looking for a Quality Analyst to join our Healthcare and Retail Business Unit. This role is key to delivering high-quality software through detailed testing, clear defect reporting, and active collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will contribute to project success by 

ensuring product reliability while aligning with Pointwest's core values of Leadership, Excellence, and Innovation, and our culture of Agility, Accountability, Collaboration, Customer Centricity, and Innovation.  

Key Responsibilities  

● Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases based on requirements.  

● Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.  

● Log and track bugs through test management and defect tracking tools.  

● Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project stakeholders to resolve defects and  improve test outcomes.  

● Provide clear documentation of testing processes, risks, and issues.  

● Support quality initiatives, share best practices, and contribute to team learning and  process improvement.  

Performance Metrics  

● Customer & Stakeholder Satisfaction: Timely and accurate defect reporting;  consistent communication with stakeholders; positive client feedback.  

● Business Growth Contribution: Reduction in production defects; on-time QA  deliverables; support for client retention through quality assurance.  

● Process Improvement: Suggestions implemented; reusable test assets created;  participation in retrospectives and QA audits.  

● Learning & Development: Training hours completed; peer contributions and  knowledge-sharing.  

Qualifications  

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.  

● Relevant experience in manual QA testing (preferably in Retail domains).  

● Strong skills in QA methodologies, test case design, defect tracking, and bug tracking  tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).  

● Basic understanding of programming languages is a plus.  

● Able to use Low-Code/No-Code Testing Tool Execution  

● Able to perform minor script adjustments  

● Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.  

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

● Willing to work on a flexible schedule.
