Hi! We're Smartsourcing, and we're looking for a talented Software Engineer who is passionate about creating reliable and scalable software systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet the needs of our diverse client base.

As a Software Engineer at Smartsourcing, you will not only contribute to exciting projects but will also have the opportunity to expand your technical skills in a supportive and innovative environment. Your responsibilities will include writing clean and efficient code, conducting code reviews, and participating in the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Create and develop complex software applications utilizing Python, Django, and Laravel.
Craft RESTful APIs and Webhooks to enhance interaction between front-end and back-end systems.
Employ leading practices for responsive design and adaptive layouts, ensuring applications are optimized for mobile devices.
Harness the power of AI technologies to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of software solutions.
Integrate various systems within the organization to promote smooth communication and collaboration across departments and teams.
Prioritize software security by incorporating cybersecurity practices such as CSP, CSRF, SSL, and more.
Manage database architecture, SQL querying, and performance optimization for scalability.
Utilize Git for version management and team collaboration, following well-established branching strategies like Gitflow.
Adopt testing and automation methodologies using Logic Apps, while collaborating with Azure, SiteGround, and other hosting providers for deployment.
Leverage SaaS tools, including CMS, ITSM, and automation technologies, to enhance workflow management efficiently.
Stay informed about emerging technology trends and assess their relevance to business objectives and operational needs.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proficient in programming languages and frameworks like Python, Django, Laravel, and Django Rest Framework.
Demonstrated expertise in server management, deployment strategies, and containerization technologies.
A strong grasp of database management, including SQL and data modeling concepts.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices is highly valued.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience in collaborative development workflows.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Previous leadership experience in software development projects is a plus.
