Purpose of the role
You will be responsible for designing, building and deploying solutions to our next generation ITSM
application Assist, which includes: maintenance, upgrades, enhancement, monitoring, and
administering all aspects of Symbio's ITSM capability. Organization's Assist application is built on the
Servicely platform.
Qualifications And Experience
- Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience in similar role
- Strong Java experience
- Exposure to SQL technologies
- Exposure to javascript
- You continually automate manual processes to drive efficiency
- Have a sense of ownership of technical projects and improvement of engineering practices
- You are a person who continually self learns and improves your technical skillsets
- Are curious, tenacious, creative, but are also a great team player
Technical Requirements
- Strong Java background (any version acceptable; earlier versions preferred, Java 17+ also acceptable)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to Terraform
- Mid-level progressing to Senior level
- Backend-focused role (no front-end responsibilities)
