Software Engineer (Backend Web Developer)

The Core Java/Backend Developer will primarily be doing backend enhancements for The Portal application.

Web frontend, Android App, and iOS App will be interacting with the backend system so having a background on web and mobile application is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Translate user stories into functional applications

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

Work in a system that interacts with other systems through REST APls

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Conduct unit testing on written codes to ensure program perform per design at the unit level
