Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in Fiserv Frontier Reconciliation to support critical reconciliation, data processing, and financial systems integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will take ownership of development, enhancement, and maintenance of reconciliation workflows, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain solutions within Fiserv Frontier Reconciliation platform
- Analyze and enhance existing reconciliation processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation logic implementation
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal system downtime
- Integrate Frontier with upstream/downstream systems (core banking, payment systems, GL systems)
- Optimize performance of reconciliation jobs and batch processing workflows
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specs and user guides
- Ensure adherence to security, audit, and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of software development experience in financial services or banking domain
- Hands-on experience with Fiserv Frontier Reconciliation (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of SQL / Oracle databases and data analysis
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or other backend technologies
- Experience with batch processing, ETL, and data reconciliation frameworks
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Understanding of financial products, transactions, and reconciliation processes
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
