Software & Data Engineer

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and scalable environments.

• Oversee environment management across development, testing, and production systems.

• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management tools.

• Embed DevSecOps practices to ensure security and compliance in all stages.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations for agile and efficient delivery.

• Provide operational and performance reports (e.g., deployment frequency, lead time, reliability).

• Occasionally will be required to report onsite.

SKILLS:

Language : Python and Bash Scripting - Core at least Expert (frameworks)

SQL Engineering - Core at least Expert (can create Tables, table property optimization)

Data Orchestration (Apache Airflow or Automate Now) - Proficient (create DAGs, schedule, frameworks of Orchestrator

Google BigQuery - Proficient (high level table creation via terraform (infra as a code)

Job Qualifications

• BS Computer Science or graduate of any IT-related course
• At least 2 years actual IT development/work experience
• SNOWFLAKE (Preferred)
• Mid- to High- SQL level
• LOOKER STUDIO
• DATA ANALYSIS/INTERPRETATION
• Communication and coordination with related departments
• Experience on automated build, test, and deployment processes is an advantage
• Minimum skill set: Python, Bash, Java for language
• Discipline: Backend developer
