Software Asset Management Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to support software licensing, entitlement tracking, compliance, and operational activities within the SAM team.

The role will focus on maintaining software asset records, supporting procurement and entitlement processes, managing documentation, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective SAM operations and compliance management.

This position will also act as a liaison between the RISK SAM team and the Manila entitlements team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain records and databases related to software licenses, warranties, and service agreements
• Support software entitlement tracking and compliance activities
• Assist with software purchase documentation and entitlement management
• Update and maintain records within ServiceNow and related systems
• Support reporting, reconciliation, and operational SAM activities
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors regarding software assets and contracts
• Assist with purchase order processing, renewals, and financial tracking activities
• Handle user queries related to SAM operations and licensing
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with internal standards

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), HAM, Operations, or related functions
• Understanding of software licensing, entitlements, and compliance processes
• Experience with enterprise systems such as:
• ServiceNow
• Ariba
• Fusion
• Strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills
• Exposure to procurement processes, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
• Good analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive tasks effectively

Preferred:

• Exposure to medium or large enterprise environments
• Basic understanding of IT contracts and software renewals
• Experience supporting operational or compliance-driven environments
• Process improvement mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Procurement, Operations, or related field
• Must be willing to work on permanent mid shift
