Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to capture and document business requirements and processes.
- Analysis & Design: Analyze business processes and data to identify improvement opportunities, and design technical specifications that align with strategic goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with developers, project managers, and QA teams to ensure software solutions effectively meet business needs.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate current systems and processes, recommending enhancements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Testing & Validation: Assist in testing new or updated systems to ensure they function as intended within a business context.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, processes, and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Experience as a software analyst or a strong interest in business software solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and methodologies; experience with business process modeling tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a dynamic, cross-functional team.
- Comfortable working as an independent contractor.
