Job Summary

The Social Media Strategist is tasked to manage the daily social posting and strategy for the Preview brand. This role is primarily responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing content for the brand's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and all other applicable social media platforms. He/she may be required to collaborate with the editorial and video director/producers for YouTube. This person will champion the growth of the brand's social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day posting, editing, and optimization of content on multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Master the brand's editorial voice and tone.
  • Make daily recommendations to, and work closely with, the editorial team for story opportunities trending on social media; must be involved for breaking and exclusive news so he/she is ready to support on social.
  • Build creative assets for various social platforms.
  • Report on content performance and present social insights and best practices to the rest of the editorial and growth teams, and Summit social media editors team.
  • Brainstorm, plan and execute on ways to drive awareness and engagement on special projects across social channels (in collaboration with growth team and editorial).
  • Adjust social strategy according to KPI packing and report on any wins and losses.
  • Film and edit content for social (TikTok/IG).
  • May be assigned tasks outside scope of above mentioned tasks such as appearing on-cam for talking heads content (e.g. TikTok Challenge), host a show/livecast (e.g. Calamansi session).
  • May be asked to work with growth lead for partnerships, especially for collaborations with content creators, etc.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing Management, Communications, or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years social media work experience; preferably in the field of beauty and or fashion.
  • Background in managing social media assets. Has extensive experience in growing, creating content, and optimizing social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube. Must be familiar with its business tools (e.g. Creator Studio, Ad Manager, etc.). Skills in analyzing and reporting data is also needed for this post.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and writing skills.
  • Positive team player and can work well with various individuals; enthusiastic work attitude.
  • Able to work outside standard working hours (occasional evenings and weekends). Camera-ready; not afraid to face the camera and create content, if needed. Strong editorial judgment.
