Job Description

Key Responsibilities Include But Is Not Limited To

Content & Product Postings

  • Plan and manage daily/weekly content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok (and

other relevant platforms).

  • Create and publish product posts (static, carousels, Reels/shorts) highlighting:
  • New arrivals, promos, bestsellers, and bundles
  • Key features and benefits in simple language
  • Clear CTAs (shop now, claim voucher, visit website/marketplace).
  • Coordinate with E-commerce/Category teams to ensure pricing, availability, and product details are accurate.
  • Work with designers/video editors (or basic DIY tools) to ensure posts are on-brand and visually consistent.

Engagement & Community Management

  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and tags across platforms within

agreed response time.

  • Engage with followers by answering basic product questions, directing them to the right links, and escalating concerns to CX when needed.

Proactively like, reply, and interact with relevant creators, customers, and communities

to keep Kimstore visible and approachable.

Flag common questions, complaints, or feedback to Marketing, CX, and E-commerce as

valuable customer insight.

Campaign Support

  • Execute social media parts of marketing campaigns and promos (payday, 11.11, 12.12,

back-to-school, brand launches, etc.).

  • Ensure product-focused posts are aligned with ongoing marketplace and website

promotions.

  • Coordinate with the Brand/Performance team on boosting or ads for key posts (if

applicable).

Monitoring, Reporting & Optimization

  • Track basic social metrics: reach, engagement rate, comments, shares, link clicks, follower growth.
  • Report weekly/monthly on:
  • Top-performing posts and themes
  • Engagement feedback (what people are asking/saying)
  • Simple recommendations on what to post more/less of.
  • Continuously test content formats, captions, posting times, and CTAs to improve engagement and product interest.

Minimum Qualifications

The Social Media Manager is responsible for growing Kimstore's presence and engagement on social platforms and making sure products are consistently and smartly posted across channels. This role manages daily posting, community engagement (comments, DMs, replies), and works with the marketing and e-commerce teams to turn content + engagement into traffic and sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related field (preferred but not required if experienced).
  • 13 years experience in social media management, content, or community management (experience in retail/e-commerce is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and how product/content

performs on each

  • Basic skills in caption writing and use of simple design/video tools.
  • Organized, consistent, and comfortable working with a content calendar and daily

posting schedule.

  • Good written communication and customer-first mindset when engaging with the

community.
