Site Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Web & Mobile Platform Support

• Assist in supporting web and mobile application platforms, including APIs, backend services, and frontend dependencies
• Help ensure high availability and performance of customer‑facing applications
• Perform basic system health checks and validations under guidance

Monitoring & Incident Response

• Participate in incident monitoring and response for web and mobile services
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues affecting application performance or availability
• Support post‑incident reviews by gathering data and documenting findings

Observability & Log Analysis

• Use monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana) to:
• Review application logs
• Analyze errors, latency, and traffic patterns
• Support root cause analysis for incidents
• Help maintain dashboards and alerts for web and mobile services

Operational Support

• Follow operational runbooks and standard procedures for deployments, releases, and validations
• Assist with routine operational tasks such as:
• Smoke testing after releases
• Configuration checks
• Verification of fixes
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge base updates

Collaboration & Continuous Learning

• Work closely with web, mobile, and backend development teams
• Learn and apply SRE concepts such as reliability, scalability, automation, and continuous improvement
• Participate in team meetings, learning sessions, and production reviews

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome)
• Basic understanding of:
• Web technologies (HTTP, APIs, REST)
• Mobile application concepts
• Linux or Unix fundamentals
• Academic or project‑based exposure to:
• Frontend or backend development
• Cloud platforms (Azure, or GCP)
