The Site Manager leads and oversees all onsite construction activities for the 50 MWac Magat Floating Solar Power Project from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing the scope of work, budget, resource allocation, and quality control to ensure the project is implemented according to plan while strictly adhering to safety regulations and building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction Supervision: Manage day-to-day site activities and supervise the EPC contractor to ensure work meets high standards and design regulations.
- Project Monitoring: Regularly review milestones against the projected timeline and implement strategic catch-up activities in the event of delays.
- Safety & Risk Management: Conduct regular site inspections, assess project site risks, and intervene immediately to resolve safety issues.
- Budget & Resource Tracking: Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Controller to monitor costs, track expenses, and manage personnel.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Proactively interact with the project execution team, O&M team, and external stakeholders, including LGUs and host communities.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager and Head of Project Execution regarding milestones and site status.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of related experience in construction project management.
- Proven track record in the power sector, specifically involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations.
- Experience working with EPC contractors, regulatory agencies, and senior decision-makers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of large-scale renewable energy structures and energy storage projects.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit for travel and onsite site management.
