Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Shopify E-commerce Specialist with a strong execution mindset to own and optimize the performance of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) store.

This isn't just an analytics rolewe're looking for someone who understands both the operational and execution side of Shopify and can actively implement improvements, not just recommend them.

The ideal candidate is an expert in e-commerce operations, merchandising strategy, and pricing optimizationsomeone who knows:

  • When to discount, order
  • What to restock
  • How to position products for maximum conversion

You should be highly analytical, deeply familiar with Shopify, and comfortable making decisions that directly impact revenue, margins, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Performance & Analytics, Analyze product performance, SKU profitability, pricing trends, and sales data
  • Own key KPIs: conversion rate (CVR), AOV, revenue per visitor, and overall store revenue
  • Build and maintain dashboards for weekly and monthly performance tracking

Merchandising & Revenue Optimization

  • Own merchandising strategy across collections, product pages, and site structure
  • Identify underperforming SKUs and improve performance through pricing, bundling, positioning, and promotions
  • Decide when and how to run discounts based on data (not guesswork)
  • Optimize product discoverability and on-site merchandising

Pricing & Inventory Strategy

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to improve margins and competitiveness
  • Analyze sell-through rates and demand trends to determine restocking priorities
  • Forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstocking
  • Make data-driven decisions on which products to scale, pause, or discontinue

Merchandising, Pricing & Inventory Ownership

  • Own decisions around what products to prioritize, restock, discount, or phase out
  • Analyze product performance and take action to improve sales through pricing, bundling, and promotions
  • Determine when and how to apply discounts based on margin, demand, and inventory levels
  • Monitor sell-through rates and inventory levels to guide restocking and forecasting decisions
  • Ensure product assortment and merchandising align with revenue goals and demand trends

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Identify and implement CRO opportunities across product pages and checkout
  • Run or support A/B tests to improve conversion rates
  • Improve product page layouts, copy, and user experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and fulfillment teams
  • Ensure alignment between campaigns, inventory, and pricing
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose improvements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, merchandising, or Shopify store management
  • Strong experience working with Shopify DTC brands (U.S. market preferred)
  • Proven ability to optimize SKU performance, pricing, and merchandising strategy
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, restocking logic, and demand forecasting
  • Experience making data-driven pricing and discounting decisions
  • Hands-on experience working inside Shopify (not just reporting/analytics)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Experience with Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools
  • Ability to take ownership and make independent decisions
  • Excellent attention to detail and structured problem-solving
  • Strong English communication skills
