Roles & responsibilities
SFMC Campaign & Journey Execution
- Build and execute customer journeys using Journey Builder including multi-step lifecycle flows and event-based triggers.
- Configure Email Studio, Content Builder, and Automation Studio to support campaign execution, scheduled automations, and triggered sends.
- Develop personalized and data-driven communications using AMPscript, dynamic content, and modular templates.
Data Management & Audience Segmentation
- Create and manage Data Extensions, relational data models, and Contact Builder attribute groups.
- Use SQL queries within Automation Studio to build audience segments, prepare datasets, and support campaign logic.
- Maintain data quality, subscriber key governance, suppression lists, and preference center logic.
Platform Integration & MarTech Alignment
- Support configuration of Marketing Cloud Connect with CRM to enable synchronized data, event-based triggers, and cross-cloud journeys.
- Collaborate with product engineering and data teams to align SFMC data structures with broader MarTech and CDP ecosystems.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Support reporting and dashboarding using Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) and SFMC analytics.
- Assist with A/B testing, deliverability monitoring, and engagement optimization for ongoing improvements.
Delivery, Documentation & Quality Support
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, test scripts, and runbooks.
- Participate in UAT, troubleshoot issues, and support BAU enhancements.
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical & Platform Skills
- Hands-on experience with:Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio.
- Good understanding of AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS for email templates.
- Familiarity with Data Extensions, subscriber model, Contact Builder, and multi-channel Messaging.
Consulting Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create structured documentation and articulate solutions clearly.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/MBA from a reputed institution.
- 3 – 5 years (ACon) or 5 – 8 years (Consultant) of experience in Marketing Automation, MarTech, or SFMC delivery.
