Role Summary
The Settlements Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily non-trade cash settlement transactions, maintaining documentation integrity, and supporting risk and compliance controls. This role requires precision, reliability, and a strong understanding of financial operations to uphold the firm's standards and regulatory obligations.
What Business Outcomes The Role Is Responsible For
- Execute Daily Cash Settlements: Ensure timely and accurate processing of non-trade cash settlement transactions to support operational efficiency and minimize errors.
- Maintain Documentation Standards: Prepare, submit, and safeguard all required documentation for internal and external partners, ensuring completeness and audit readiness.
- Support Risk and Compliance Controls: Comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and audit protocols. Maintain a high level of compliance awareness and contribute to risk mitigation efforts
Minimum Qualifications
What we're looking for in a successful candidate:
- Financial & Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts, with a detail-oriented and thorough approach to operational tasks. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any other relevant course is required.
- Efficiency & Prioritization: Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment, while maintaining accuracy and reliability.
- Communication & Integrity: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with a high level of integrity and sound judgment in identifying and resolving issues.
