Job Description

Role Purpose

Design and deliver configuration and development across the ServiceNow platform. Work closely with product owners, architects, Service Desk, and internal teams to turn business requirements into robust, supportable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and develop solutions on the ServiceNow Platform across core applications, with a focus on ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SAMPro, and related modules.
  • Build solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs and different ServiceNow artifacts such as Business Rules, UI Policies, Client and Server-side Scripts, UI Actions/Declarative actions.
  • Design workflow automation with Flow Designer and Integration Hub, including spokes, sub flows and reusable actions.
  • Implement and maintain integrations via REST and SOAP, use MID Servers where needed, and manage credentials and connection security.
  • Maintain CMDB and CSDM alignment, discovery patterns, service mapping basics, and data quality controls.
  • Contribute to release and change processes, including CAB inputs, deployment planning, and rollback strategies.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, solution designs, and user-facing guides.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and problems, perform root cause analysis, and support BAU with knowledge articles.

Required skills and experience:

  • Solid understanding of CMDB, CSDM framework, and data hygiene practices.
  • 24 years hands-on ServiceNow experience in an enterprise setting.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting with hands-on experience using Glide APIs.
  • Proven delivery of at least one end-to-end ServiceNow implementation or multiple significant enhancements in ITSM.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST integrations.
  • Working knowledge of ATF, update sets, and version control practices.
  • Familiar with platform performance tuning, security (ACLs), Service Portal and Workspace configuration using UI Builder.

Certifications: (Nice to have)

  • ITIL 4 Foundation
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • One Implementation Specialist certification in a priority module such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, or ITOM .
