The Role:Technical Service Engineer

This position is based in Manila with periods working from home and travel based on real requirement.

Key responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the tele- and on-site technical support and after sales support.
  2. Commissioning, troubleshooting, firmware/hardware updating of PV string, Hybrid / storage inverter and BESS.
  3. Reporting and following up with head office in relation to product failure with clear descriptions
  4. Evaluating PV plant performance by studying operation data on a regular basis
  5. Pro-actively work with installers & retailers and provide them best-in class customer experience.
  6. Regular follow-ups on the technical issues and build a healthy relationship with installer & retailers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor degree or above: must be electrical or electronics background.
  2. Preferred minimum 1 year of working experience in the solar industry especially dealing with product trouble shootings
  3. Strong ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
  4. Reliable and self-motivated
  5. The ability to learn new technologies quickly
  6. Strong Microsoft office skills
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment,
  8. Excellent communication skills
  9. A friendly, positive and customer-driven attitude
  10. Excellent time management and organizational skills
  11. Adapt to frequent travel

Salary negotiable depending on experience
