Job Description

Role:
  • Manage and maintain server environments (Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server).
  • Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure for optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Monitor system performance, set up alerts, and troubleshoot issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and CloudWatch.
  • Manage and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Ensure security compliance and data protection, following best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and support teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations.
  • Respond quickly to urgent server issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Proactively improve system reliability, security, and scalability.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in server management, system engineering, or DevOps.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on AWS experience managing production environments in a SaaS setup.
  • Skilled in managing Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server environments.
  • Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps tools, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Good understanding of networking (DNS, load balancing, VPN, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experienced in using monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch).
  • Understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, and data protection.
  • Willing to be on-call for urgent issues.
  • Has good attitude and behavior; able to work well with different teams.
  • Can handle high-pressure situations with calm and problem-solving focus.
  • Proactive in improving performance, reducing costs, and preventing issues.
