As an SEO Team Lead, you will drive the strategic direction of SEO initiatives within the Marketing team, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes. This role plays a critical part in elevating SEO performance through data-driven insights, strong stakeholder communication, and team mentorship. You will bridge execution and strategy while developing team capabilities and delivering impactful results.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead and execute SEO strategies aligned with business priorities and growth targets
- Translate SEO data into clear, actionable insights and monthly reports
- Oversee keyword strategy, content optimization, and technical SEO initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders (content, product, analytics) to drive results
- Align SEO roadmap with company objectives (e.g., high-impact pages and campaigns)
- Mentor and guide team members through coaching and knowledge sharing
- Ensure consistent reporting and performance tracking using analytics tools
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and SEO innovation
- Proactively resolve issues and remove blockers for the team
- Lead regular syncs and strategy discussions with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or mentoring role
- Strong expertise in SEO strategy, technical SEO, and content optimization
- Proven ability to translate data into insights and business recommendations
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work based on business impact
