About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to develop and execute effective search engine optimisation strategies that improve organic visibility, website traffic, lead generation, and overall online performance for a diverse portfolio of clients.
The ideal candidate is analytical, results-driven, and up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end SEO campaigns, conducting audits, implementing optimisation strategies, and providing performance insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify on-page, technical, and content-related SEO opportunities.
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and target search demand.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies tailored to client objectives and industry requirements.
- Optimise website content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure to improve search engine visibility.
- Create SEO recommendations for landing pages, blogs, and other website content.
- Execute technical SEO improvements, including crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, and structured data optimisation.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve website authority and rankings.
- Monitor backlink profiles and identify toxic links for removal or disavowal when necessary.
- Manage and optimise Google Business Profiles and local SEO campaigns.
- Build and maintain local citations and location-based SEO assets.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and other SEO performance metrics.
- Prepare and present regular SEO reports, insights, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with content, web development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
- Stay informed on search engine algorithm updates, emerging SEO trends, and industry developments.
- Support additional digital marketing initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in SEO, preferably within a digital marketing agency or multi-client environment.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO.
- Experience conducting website audits and developing SEO strategies.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Strong keyword research, competitor analysis, and reporting skills.
- Experience managing Google Business Profiles and local SEO campaigns.
- Knowledge of website CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or similar.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
