About the Role

We're looking for a SEO & Growth Marketing Specialist who's part strategist, part doer someone who can drive user growth and engagement for WordPress plugins while ensuring smooth product operations and support.

In the first phase, your focus will be on marketing and growth:

• Creating and optimizing content, improving SEO rankings, managing user communications,
• and executing email campaigns that convert free users to paid subscribers.

As the product scales, the role will evolve toward product ownership and workflow optimization, including managing plugin updates, automation with AI tools, user support processes, and coordination with developers.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in small, agile teams, loves experimenting with new tools, and enjoys seeing their work directly impact user adoption and satisfaction.

Work hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5 pm AEST/AEDT (6am to 3pm Manila time / 5am to 2pm Manila time)

Work set-up: Remote (Philippines)

What you'll do

Marketing & Growth Execution

• Develop and execute content strategies to drive website traffic and plugin adoption (blogs, FAQs, release notes).
• Plan and manage SEO activities to improve organic rankings and plugin discoverability.
• Manage and optimize email marketing campaigns (via EmailOctopus or similar) to boost user engagement and conversions.
• Write clear, user-friendly copy that communicates technical information simply.
• Track performance using analytics tools and prepare weekly reports on traffic, downloads, and conversion metrics.

Product Operations & Support

• Manage product listings, updates, and changelogs for WordPress plugins.
• Monitor user feedback, respond to basic support inquiries, and escalate technical issues to developers using ClickUp, Notion, or GitHub.
• Collaborate with the developer and design team to refine features and documentation.
• Identify automation opportunities using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to streamline content and workflows.

Continuous Improvement

• Regularly review website and funnel performance to identify optimization opportunities.
• Experiment with new growth channels, community outreach, and LLM (AI-based) search visibility.
• Contribute creative ideas to strengthen the client's plugin ecosystem and user retention.

What You Bring

• 35 years of experience in growth marketing, digital product management, or SEO-driven operationspreferably within SaaS or WordPress environments.
• Proven experience in content marketing, SEO, and email automation.
• Familiarity with WordPress plugin management, HTML editing tools (VS Code, Dreamweaver), and analytics dashboards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with project tools (ClickUp, Notion, GitHub) and AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for content creation and workflow automation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Entrepreneurial attitude: resourceful, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
