Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wordpress Developer (Mid-Weight or Senior)

to join our team (working remotely/from home). The successful candidate will be responsible

for designing, developing, and maintaining multiple websites (primarily WordPress).

Responsibilities:

Overall to deliver quality work by ensuring any output produced meets, or exceeds,

the Account Manager / Client request / company standards.

Develop and maintain multiple websites (primarily WordPress), updating

themes and plugins as needed.

Create new website features and functionalities.

Optimize website performance.

Ensure suitable security protocols are implemented, ongoing monitored and

kept up to date.

Integrate tracking tools (GTM, GA, GS, etc.) and apply technical SEO elements.

Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure

websites meet business needs.

Troubleshoot and debug any issues and ensure timely resolution.

The following list represents the skills & experience of the ideal candidate:

Good communication skills, written and verbal in English - strong proficiency or fluency

required as this role involves working & communicating with many markets/cross-functional

teams across Asia.

Strong attention to detail/quality control.

Strong experience in developing and managing WordPress websites.

Advanced WordPress knowledge, including:

o Custom post types, taxonomies, and block development

o Experience working with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)

o Experience working with page builders (e.g. Divi, Elementor, WP Bakery)

o (Experience working with Bedrock Framework is a plus)

Excellent coding skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.

Version control experience, particularly Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).

Experience working with staging environments, deployment flows, and

migration tools (e.g., WP Migrate, All-in-One Migration, etc.).

Familiarity with API integrations (REST, GraphQL, external endpoints).

Experience implementing performance optimization techniques, including

caching, CDN configuration, image compression, and script optimization.

Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design.

Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.

Proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.

Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills
