Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Senior Video Editor to create engaging and high-converting video ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok platforms. As a video editor for our eCommerce brand, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual content that captures our audience's attention and drives sales.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form video ads optimized for Meta and TikTok, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with campaign objectives.
- Apply strong storytelling, brand consistency, and best-practice visual, audio, and editing techniques tailored to each platform (paid and organic).
- Use advanced editing tools, transitions, motion graphics, captions, and effects to create engaging, performance-driven creatives.
- Work independently day to day, proactively seeking clarification or support when required while maintaining ownership of deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals, audiences, and creative direction, contributing ideas to improve creative formats and performance.
- Maintain organized workflows, including version control, file management, clear updates on task progress, and structured handling of revisions.
- Monitor platform trends, formats, and best practices to continuously evolve creative output and recommend improvements.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, platform specifications, quality standards, and accuracy across deliverables.
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, or production challenges and contribute to problem solving and capability development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in short-form video editing for Meta and TikTok ads with strong creative and technical execution.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong understanding of social media advertising trends, platform behavior, performance-led creative approaches, and content best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, legibility, brand alignment, and production consistency.
- Experience working within structured workflows, including version control, feedback implementation, and organized file management.
- A portfolio showcasing high-quality, creative, and effective short-form video work relevant to social media advertising.
