What You'll Do

You know how to combine typography, colours, white space to create well-organised and visually appealing layouts. As a senior designer, you need to guide members of the design team to help them grow on their journey to becoming exceptional designers.

You must ensure that the team's work is efficiently organised and scalable. An understanding of modular design and design systems is key to creating reusable components that can be used across projects; streamlining design and build.

• Lead CX & UX design thinking squads
• Lead UX Audits to identify areas for improvement across sites/apps
• Lead research (qual. & quant.) and use results to inform designs
• Create content taxonomies and information architecture for web/apps
• Lead stakeholders interviews to understand business goals
• Manage the design team to create beautiful UI
• Design aesthetically pleasing, functional, and engaging interfaces
• Hands-on creation of pattern libraries, design systems and designed screens
• Design exploration in discovery (mood boards, design direction, UI libraries, rapid prototyping)
• Conduct UI Audits to look for ways to improve websites/apps
• Ensure that customer needs flow through into designed screens
• Rapid-prototyping during discovery and design sprints
• Annotate designs with full specs for build team (i.e. gridlines, interactions, break points etc.)
• Work in an agile x-functional team

Requirements

5+ years experience in UI design for web or mobile apps

Team leader

Advanced communication skills

Skilled presenter

Detailed orientated

Expert level knowledge of design tools (e.g. Figma)

Able to operate across all project phases (Discovery, Setup, Design Sprints, Design QA)

Own an impressive portfolio that showcases your achievements and design projects so far
