Solviva is the first venture launched from AboitizPower's 1882 Ventures, a venture studio focused on decentralizing the energy system and creating more sustainable homes, businesses, mobility, and networks.

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to act as the creative and user-centric bridge between Solviva's business objectives and digital products. You will own the end-to-end design process, taking responsibility for our web applications, landing pages, internal dashboards, and mobile apps. You'll collaborate closely with technical leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline complex energy and financing workflows into intuitive, visually appealing interfaces. Ideal candidates are design leaders with a strong portfolio in systems design and product scaling, driven by a passion for turning business challenges into seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Product Design, prototype, and refine user interfaces for external mobile applications, consumer-facing webpages, and custom web-based applications.
• Create data-rich, intuitive internal dashboards to support teams across sales, operations, aftersales, and finance.
• Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for various screen sizes and platforms. User Experience Strategy & Research
• Map out user journeys for homeowners exploring solar technology and flexible financing options.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on existing products.
• Translate complex business requirements and workflows into simple, elegant, and user-friendly digital solutions. Design Systems & Collaboration
• Build, maintain, and evolve Solviva's design system and UI component library to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with technical leads and full-stack developers to ensure seamless handoffs and the accurate implementation of designs.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation, brand guidelines, and UI assets.

Qualifications and Skills Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in UI/UX design, specifically designing for web applications, complex dashboards, and mobile platforms.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a strong plus. Technical Proficiency Expertise in industry-standard design tools, particularly Figma and Adobe Photoshop. Proficiency with other key UI/UX and whiteboarding software such as Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Miro.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design, mobile guidelines (iOS/Android), and digital accessibility standards.
• Good to have: Familiarity designing for or integrating with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) to optimize internal team workflows. Good to have: Basic understanding of frontend frameworks (React, Vue, HTML/CSS) to effectively communicate with development teams.
